Close to the Wildpark lies the train station Sanssouci Park, formerly known as Kaiserbahnhof and before that Wildpark station. The station complex consists of the beautiful, renovated Kaiserbahnhof, a grand building and the smaller reception hall for common passengers, the Bürgerbahnhof that I under construction at the moment. The Kaiserbahnhof was used as the private station by the German Emperor Wilhelm II.

The Wildpark station was built in 1868 and the Bürgerbahnhof is one of the few of its kind due to its wood-made structure. Leaving the Bürgerbahnhof one gets to the Posttor, the former main entrance to Sanssouci Park, nowadays it’s not so widely used, because most people enter the park at the New Palace or directly at Sanssouci Palace.

The Kaiserbahnhof was built in 1905 and was reconstructed in 2005 and serves now as an academy for the German national railway Deutsche Bahn.

Gleich neben dem Wildpark liegt der Bahnof Park Sanssouci, auch bekannt als Kaiserbahnhof und davor als Bahnhof Wildpark. Die Bahnhofanlage besteht aus dem wunderschönen, renovierten Kauserbahnhof, einem großartigen Bau und dem kleineren Bürgerbahnhof, der für das normale Volk war und derzeit im Bau befindet. Der Kaiserbahnhof diente der privaten Nutzung von Kaiser Wilhelm II.

Der Bahnhof Wildpark wurde 1868 gebaut und der Bürgerbahnhof gehört mit seiner Fachwerk-Bauweise zu einer der letzten seiner Art. Wenn man aus dem Bürgerbahnhof heraustritt kommt man zum Posttor, welches früher der offizielle Eingang zum Park Sanssouci war. Heute hat es nicht mehr solche eine Stellung, die meisten Besucher betreten den Park nahe des Neuen Palais oder direkt am Schloss Sanssouci.

Der Kaiserbahnhof wurde 1905 erbaut und 2005 wieder in Stand gesetzt, er dient jetzt der Deutschen Bahn als Akademie.
